The Parke House Academy offers extended care for your child through the use of our Extended Day Program.  This program offers your child the opportunity to participate in the following activities in a supervised and safe environment after school:  centers, crafts, games, art and movies.  A homework/study period is offered for Upper Division students during the school year. 

In order to provide the best possible care for your child, we ask that you do the following:

• Pre-pay $6.00 per day by the first of the month.  This is the only way to ensure availability for your child. 
• Let us know who will be picking up your child from school.  All possible names must be on the enrollment form.  We check ID’s of any non-family members.
• Call us as soon as possible if you need to change your schedule for the day.  This allows us time to inform your child’s teacher and make sure your child is where he or she needs to be at the end of the day.
• Be on time for pick-up.  Extended Day ends promptly at 5:30PM.  A late fee of $1/minute past 5:30PM will be charged according to the school clock.  Please pay the Extended Day teacher upon your arrival or within one week of this day.  If the late fee is not paid promptly, your child will not be allowed to attend the program until the account is paid in full. 
• Make sure your child’s teacher is aware of any extra-curricular or after school enrichment classes in which your child will be participating so she can inform the Extended Day teachers.
• Note that we cannot prevent your child from napping.  This task at times is impossible after a busy day!

Various After School Enrichment Classes are also available.  These various classes are separate from the Extended Day program.  Activities, days, times and prices will also vary.  Examples of classes are: ballet, karate, sports club, yoga, etiquette, tumble time, cheerleading, drama, rhythm & rhyme, chess, art, etc.
