Etiquette

The Parke House Academy believes that a child’s social skills are just as important as their academic skills. Social graces, good manners, and proper etiquette are the foundation on which to build friendships and mutual respect. In Etiquette class we teach social skills to help the children to get along better, solve conflicts, be kind, and respectful. Weekly lessons taught include: How to Write a Thank You Card, Gentleman and Lady-like Behavior, How to Shake Hands, How to Introduce Others, Giving a Speech, Gratitude, Gift Giving, Random Acts of Kindness, Conversation Skills, Organization Skills, Communication Skills, How to make Friends, How to Get Along with Others, Respect, Bullying, Empathy, International Protocol, and Volunteerism. Each class is unique and taught in an engaging and fun way for the children to learn.

The Parke House Academy is pleased to have on staff Ms. Dannie Fowler, Certified Etiquette and Image Consultant, and owner of The Etiquette School of Florida, LLC. She is also an author of several etiquette books and a professional speaker for colleges and corporations.
