The mission of the Parke House Academy library is to foster a love of reading and develop information literacy skills within our student body.  Through weekly library classes, students explore various genres and authors, develop research skills, and learn to use library resources, both print and electronic.

In addition to visiting the library with their class, students are welcome to visit the library as needed to check out books or utilize print and online resources.

Students are also encouraged to participate in the Accelerated Reader program.  The Accelerated Reader, or AR, is a reading incentive program used to monitor reading growth.  AR books in the library collection are labeled, but students may use books from other sources.
